Add to wax to help to eliminate bubbles and mottling. Also acts an oil binder. For use with paraffin waxes with melt points above 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Use 1/2 - 2%
55 pound case [A0060]
Helps to eliminate mottling, makes wax more opalescent. Use 1 - 10% for hurricane candle and dipped tapers. Use 3 - 10% for molded candles and polyurethane molds.

Stearic acid is a fatty acid that is derived from tallow or vegetable oil. Stearic is a very effective wax modifier that has been used in candle making for well over 150 years. Also referred to as stearine.
