Candle Wax Additives
Additives provide the candle maker with
tools to tailor paraffin waxes. Using wax additives can offer the
candle maker the ability to soften, increase the rigidity, melting
point and fragrance retention of paraffin waxes. They also are used
to eliminate surface imperfections, improve gloss and mold release
of your candles. Wax additives with melt points over 180 degrees
F should be melted separately with a small amount of wax and then
added to the melted wax once it is completely liquid.

can yellow and peel off. The coating is not flammable but should
